KB4464217 and KB4464218
The first issue that these updates have resolved is of Microsoft Intune. Microsoft Intune is a cloud platform that enables mobile management strategy according to the need of organization keeping the company information secure.
The problem which occurred here was that the updates made between July 24, 2018 and September 11, 2018 does not authorize the security certificate called PFX (Personal Information Exchange) Certificate. This certificate is used to authenticate the Wi-Fi or VPN connection. As a result users’ profiles were not authenticated. This bug will be resolved after installing these updates.
Another issue that occurred was the connectivity of VPN servers using IKEv2 protocol. Remote Access Error 809 was displayed for such VPN servers. The latest version is now free from this error.
Besides that, there are still vulnerabilities in 64 based system that has not been fixed. The vulnerability arises in Task Scheduler particularly in APLC (Advanced Procedure Local Call). This vulnerability allows local user to access system privileges and thus can control the devices. This vulnerability still needs to be fixed.
New cumulative updates will be released in October. Still no issue in the update has been seen. This article will be updated if any performance related issues or some other bug arises with the new update.
