Finally Microsoft has released Windows 10 Version 1803 April 2018 Update. Earlier, it was speculated that the new update will be named as Spring Creators Update but Microsoft changed the naming convention and named it April 2018 Update. This update has been codenamed as Redstone4.
After installing this update, the complete build number of your Operating System will be Windows 10 build 17134.1. The users who are using Windows 10 Version 1709 will automatically get this update via Windows Update. To check for the latest updates, follows the steps below:
Go to Windows Settings (Windows Key + I)
Go to Update & Security
Click on Check for Updates option
Windows will check for new updates for your system. If you are not getting the latest update, don’t worry. Microsoft is releasing the update in chunks. Sooner or later, you will get the update via Windows Update. If you want to install the update manually, please proceed below.

There are a few methods of downloading and installing the latest version of Windows. I have explained one method at the start of this article which is automatic, by using Windows Update. If, for any reason, you are not getting the update using Windows Update, you may use the following methods for upgrading or doing a fresh install of Windows 10 Version 1803. It is highly recommended that you backup your system before installing Windows updates. Creating a restore point should also be fine.
